MEET GILLIAN
My name is Gillian Burnett and I qualified as an integrative therapist in August 2020 receiving CPCAB level 4 diploma in therapeutic counselling and completed further training provided by Phyllis Coulter gaining CPCAB level 5 diploma in trauma informed counselling Children and Young People in November 2023.
I am a registered member of BACP and an accredited member of NCPS I have 6 years experience working with adults and 5 years experience working with children and young people providing counselling within agencies, primary and post primary settings and in private practice.
I can work within a modality to meet your needs with a person-centred approach at the forefront of therapy alongside cognitive behavioural informed or psychodynamic informed techniques. I have experience of many presentations to include suicide prevention, self-harm, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, emotional dysregulation and bereavement.
